Aeg oven single electric, a guide to models.
The AEG oven list below represents a selection of the full range we offer. AEG probably make some of the best ovens available. And although the AEG brand is regarded as one of the best around, with the prices we offer you may be suprised how cheap they are.
Single electric ovens still out sell double ovens by far, this is probably because they are so versatile. They can be built in to a housing at high level or at low level under the worktop, plus building under gives the advantage of placing a hob directly above. When building under a single oven gives you the largest oven capacity when compared to a double built under. This is because the larger cavity on a double built under oven is compressed to allow room for the extra cavity above. So a single oven is more practical for cooking turkeys at Christmas etc. The downside to a single oven is combining the grill element inside, this takes away a small amount of space and can be a hassle to use. The hassle is that if you do not use the grill very often, when you do use it it may smoke as it warms up due to the grease from the oven being burned off. There is a solution here though, you could invest in a microwave grill combi. This would save having to use the grill in the oven, with the added bonus that the microwave may have a timer which switches off the grill when finished (save burning the chops!) And for sure it is better to make toast in a toaster.
Single ovens are available in both gas and electric (not AEG) but electric ovens out sell gas by 20-1. This means that there are only a few makers left that still supply a single gas oven.
